The grizzly or ore screen consists of an incline plane of iron bars leading down to the mouth of a rock crusher. The bars are set with a spacing equal to the space between the lower ends of the rock crusher jaw. Smaller rocks pass through the grizzly into the ore bin below while larger rocks are stopped by the grizzly and slide down to the rock crusher where they are broken down.
